Looking for New Years Eve makeup inspiration for tonight? I recreated this makeup look the other day and thought it would be perfect for New Years Eve so I wanted to share it with you! When I posted this photo to my Instagram, so many of you wanted to know what I used on my eyes to create this grungy, red smokey eye look. I wanted to do something that was completely different to my usual eye makeup, but I still wanted it to be really warm because I know those colours really make my blue eyes stand out in photos! We were actually heading out for drinks with friends in the evening I recreated this look so I knew there would be a lot of photos being taken. I saw Perrie from Little Mix wear a similar eye look at The X Factor Final and it looked amazing on her!

For my eyes, I started off by using MAC ‘Coppering' Eyeshadow with a MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush and I applied this all over my eye lid and up to my crease. I used a flat top brush so that I could really pack on the colour and this meant the eyeshadow looked really intense. I then used MAC ‘Mythology’ Eyeshadow on a MAC 217 Blending Brush and applied this into my socket line/crease in a rounded motion. I did this in a rounded motion so that it made my eyes appear bigger and I just find this shape suits my eye shape best. I didn’t want to take it outwards too much and wanted to stick with the shape I felt most comfortable with. To make my eyes look super sparkly, I then added MAC 'Copper Sparkle' Pigment and I applied this over the top where I applied MAC ‘Coppering' Eyeshadow. To make the pigment stick I applied MAC Prep & Prime Fix+ onto a brush and then dipped my brush into the pigment and packed it onto my eyelid. This meant that the glitter didn’t fall out and it made it so much easier to apply. This also made the pigment stand out and I really think this brought the look together.

To smoke up my eye look, I wanted to add a black eyeliner around my eye. Red eyeshadow can be quite tricky to wear so I find that adding black around my eyes really helps to bring the look together and break up the red shadow. I used the Guerlain Eye Pencil in 'Black Jack' and I took this in my waterline, my top waterline and along my top lash line. By adding this along my top lash line and smoking it out with a brush, it made it look more grungy and smoky, and when looking at pictures of Perrie, I could see that it was the same on her eye makeup look too! This eye pencil is amazing because it stays on all night but its also so soft that it makes it so smooth to apply.

Now onto my new favourite mascara. I have been on the hunt for a new mascara for a while now and my friend Victoria (Inthefrow) who also makes YouTube videos and has an amazing blog always talks about the Clarins Truly Waterproof Mascara. I have seen it in so many videos of Victoria’s so I decided to pick one up and I’m so glad I did because its one of the best I have tried! I would never normally use waterproof mascara and I think that’s where I have been going wrong, I usually find the brushes are never as good on waterproof mascara’s and they are always a nightmare to get off but this mascara works wonders! To finish off my look I also added some Eylure Texture Lashes in 117! I think this look would be perfect for any New Years Eve occasion, wether you are going to a house party, night out or drinks with friends. This year Lucy and I are going to our friend Victoria’s house and we couldn’t be more excited to spend time with our favourite friends that made our 2015! Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

On Sunday 22nd November, we attended Joe and Caspar's premiere for their film 'Hit The Road!' It was such a fun and exciting evening and it was so amazing to be there to support Joe and Caspar, the biggest congratulations to them for the film. It was so hilarious and we know you guys are going to absolutely love it too! It was so amazing to be there to congratulate Joe and Caspar and feel part of this amazing YouTube community! It was so lovely meeting you guys on the red carpet, we've loved looking back at all the pictures we took together from the premiere!

Since putting pictures of our outfits on Twitter @LucyAndLydia and our Instagram's, so many of you have asked all about our outfits that we wore to walk the red carpet. We both wore these beautiful dresses from Chi Chi London! Their dress collection is absolutely beautiful so we would both definitely recommend Chi Chi London if you are looking for a party or evening dress for a special occasion! Starting with Lydia's outfit (yes it's Lydia typing now) I wore this satin dip hem metallic skater dress which made me feel like a total princess! This dress is so pretty because the satin material is super metallic, and the metallic colour meant that its also perfect for Christmas season! This dress is also backless which also adds to the princess vibes! I then wore my favourite and most comfortable black strappy heels which went with the dress perfectly and accessorised with silver embellished jewellery.

I've been loving Perrie Edwards boho style, and recently I went to one of Little Mix's gig's where Perrie was wearing her hair in an ponytail and accessorised braids at the sides with silver hair rings! I loved how unusual and boho this looked, and loved how it added a bit more to a up-do hairstyle so I knew I definitely wanted to recreate it for this premiere. My other hair inspiration Lauren Pope wears hair rings amazingly in her hair and I've always loved how it looks! No ponytail hairstyle is complete with a little help from Hair Rehab London hair extensions! Since wearing Hair Rehab London hair extensions, I've had so many lovely comments on my Instagram about how thick and voluminous my hair looks. The Hair Rehab London Ponytail is the perfect red carpet hair accessory so of course I wore this to complete my hair look! I finished my red carpet look with a silver embellished ear cuff from Topshop to add a little more edge to my finished look. For my makeup, I decided to go for a really shimmery silver smokey eye and a nude lip! Of course I used my favourite ever MAC Moth Pigment! It always looks so shimmery on camera! We filmed a 'Get Ready With Us' video for our YouTube channel which we will link down below! We show you how to recreate my up-do hairstyle and my makeup look on camera!

It's Lucy typing now! For my outfit I decided to wear this beautiful Chi Chi London skater dress. I love how this dress has hints of metallic and lace detailing and I love the length of this dress. I love the princess style and also how this dress would be the perfect for Prom season! Choosing this dress in navy meant that I could be a bit more experimental with my makeup look so I decided to be brave and go for a navy shimmery smokey eye. As this is such a different look for me, so many of you guys were so lovely to comment on my eye look! Thank-you! I curled my hair using my Babyliss Vintage Wave Maker Curling Wand as I love the curls that this creates in my hair! I let the dress do all the talking so I didn't accessorise with any jewellery as I love how this dress was so detailed.

We had such a great night with all of our friends to celebrate Joe and Caspar's incredible achievement with the rest of the Team Gleam family! As always, all the clothing and products we both mentioned in this post will be linked below! Joe and Caspar's DVD 'Joe & Caspar Hit The Road' is available to purchase now! Click here!

After recently collaborating with Miss Sporty on a Christmas makeup look video on our YouTube channel, we wanted to talk through some of our favourite products that we used and loved in the video! We've recently discovered so many amazing products from Miss Sporty so we wanted to tell you all about them! Miss Sporty was one of the first makeup brands we used when we first discovered makeup in our teens and we are so pleasantly surprised at their new products that we've tried! Let's talk through some of our favourites that we used to create our Christmas looks!

It's now Lydia typing! For my Christmas makeup look I really wanted to go for something that was going to be super festive and christmassy, but also a makeup look that would go perfectly with my red embellished playsuit. I decided to use this really pretty bronze eyeshadow palette, which is the Miss Sporty Studio Colour Quattro Eyeshadow in 'Brown Eyes!' This palette comes with four super pigmented shimmery eyeshadow shades that blend beautifully together to make a golden bronze smokey eye. I used the golden shade all over my eyelid, the darkest shade through the outer corner and the lightest shade to highlight my brow bone. If you love golden shimmery shades, you will love this!

Secondly, I want to talk about one of my favourite ever recent discoveries which is the Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Liquid Concealer. This concealer is extremely smooth and so easy to blend! This concealer is the perfect two-in-one concealer which I used underneath my eyes to cover and conceal any darkness but it's also enough coverage to use on blemishes, keeping them completely covered! For my skin tone, this shade in 'Light' is absolutely perfect as its light enough to brighten underneath my eyes. I completely agree with the 10 hours stay power! This concealer has now become my firm favourite to use in my everyday makeup routine as it is so long lasting and stays put all day!

I set all of my makeup into place with the Miss Sporty So Matte Perfect Stay Powder, which feels so lightweight on my skin that it almost feels like a velvety soft veil! I love this powder because it makes my makeup look so flawless and sets all my base makeup into place. It will be the perfect Christmas party handbag accessory as keeps my skin looking so matte and flawless. I also love how lightweight and thin the packaging is, so its not going to weigh my clutch bag down! I finished my makeup look with the most perfect red christmas lipstick, the Miss Sporty Perfect Colour Lipstick in 'High Red!' I love how creamy but comfortable these lipsticks feel on my lips!

It's Lucy typing now! As you know, Lydia and I are all about the brows and I would definitely say its one of the most important steps in our makeup routines. In our video I used the Miss Sporty Studio Eyebrow Kit in 'Medium Brown' and its all I've been using on my brows ever since! I love this eyebrow kit as it comes with a powder and a wax formula which you can use to sculpt, shape and colour your brows. I really love a full brow and this kit definitely helps with achieving that look. The brown shade is also perfect for my brows. The kit also comes with an angled brush which makes filling in your eyebrows a treat as you can really sculpt them into the shape that you want!

As I was wearing a black embellished skater dress I really wanted to go for a grey shimmery smokey eye look. I've been loving silver eyeshadow looks recently and when I saw this Miss Sporty Studio Colour Quattro Eyeshadow in 'Black' I instantly knew that this would create the perfect shimmery smokey eye. I love that the eyeshadows are super pigmented and shimmery and how all the silvery tones of the eyeshadows blend so beautifully together! To intensify my eye look, I added the Miss Sporty Pump Up Booster Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in 'Darkness' in my waterline to make my eye look extra smokey! Of course, I never forget winged liner on the top of my lash line and I used the Miss Sporty Studio Lash The Miaoww Eyeliner. I love how easy this was to apply as it's shaped like a pen but also how black the colour pay off is. On my lashes I used the Miss Sporty Pump Up Booster Lash Bodifier Mascara as it really lengthens my lashes but adds lots of volume! I love how it makes my bottom lashes look so feathery!

Let us know in the comments what makeup look you will be trying out for your own Christmas party occasions and if you do recreate these looks, make sure you send us a photo on Twitter @LucyAndLydia! Check out our video where you can see us using these products. Miss Sporty is available from Boots & Superdrug online and in stores.
